Watch the Magic!

Well believe it or not this is actually an image of the same flower off of my morning glory plant in the backyard. I took these pictures on a very windy day and the picture on the right represents a wind blown flower. In the photo on the left, the color of the morning glory appears more bright and looks more blue. The intensity(saturation) of the image is definitely more vibrant. On the one flower it appears to have more of a violet blue color(hue). While in the other picture the flower takes on more of a purple hue. The intensity of the flower on the right is not as intense. The value of each of these images are both different. The image on the left has a lighter value of purple than the other picture. I think that anyone would enjoy looking at these beautiful flowers.

This is a really neat comparison. The first image looks like it is dead and the second one looks so alive.!!

That poor flower the wind ripped it to shreds! The other picture is very bright. It's almost has a glow about it. I think it's important to note the difference of the shadows. The "beaten" flower has soft shadows that seem to blend together, while the other picture has harsh shadows that are more sharper in contrast. Great pictures.

This looks really cool! It is amazing to see how much the light can change the color and look of the exact same object. The flower that is much brighter and has a blue color to it looks really pretty, where the "beaten" flower almost fits it look, because it looks dull and not as "alive" in color as the other.

How funny your morning glory stared our blue and went to purple too!. I looked on the color wheel and the tint next to blue is blue-violet. In that order.

There a shift in saturation in the green leaves in the images too. It's amazing to watch such changes in the living flower too. It adds a whole new dimension to the assignment, I think.
